On Friday August 12, I was in Melbourne’s City center to witness a wonderful event. After Cadel Evans sensational win at the Tour de France, Cadel was in his home town of Melbourne for a parade ride along St Kilda Road to Federation Square, where up to 30 thousand people gathered to congratulate Cadel for his wonderful win. I had just come out of a meeting at the Arts Center, where people were lined  up 3 deep waiting for Cadel to ride past. With Eamon by my side I was fortunate to find a spot on Princes Bridge where people had gathered up for a kilometer to Fed Square. Not waiting to long, I capture the below image of Cadel riding slowly to greet all his fans. What a moment in time to be part of something very special..
