In the middle of North West Victoria along with photographer friend, James, we found this magic spot near a bridge that crosses over the Barwon River. Setting up in the dark was interesting and then the magic wait for 200 frames to be taken which will form the star trails of the night. Setting up my D700 24-120 VR11 f4 and D90 18-200 VR11 with a 30 second  exposure, I was set to fire away  for the next 2 hours as the cameras took 200 frames which forms the star trails. Heading back to James home we used the computer and a stacking program which gives the trailing lines of the stars. The end result is amazing and beautiful. I will be doing more adventure trips down into the region again as I am totally hooked on this sort of photography.

Melbourne is famous for it’s wonderful lane-ways, with many of them now having all sorts of eateries and many coffee shops. Their are also many lane-ways with some spectacular art works on many of the old brick works. Their is an unwritten law never take photos of art work in these lane-ways but while doing a photo shoot in the city recently I came across this bike leaning against the wall. It look so peaceful standing alone against the wall with art work that seems to me a perfect image that represents an urban sunset of many colours.
