This week I headed up to Euroa with Eamon where I ran Photography workshop, as part of the Euroa School holiday program. It was a total success with the kids. While staying up there for 2 days, I was driven around the area where we ended up the top of Mt Wombat to capture some sensational sunsets. With a clear night and the moon out, I cranked up my D700 and fired away  capturing some amazing images. Thanks to Pam, Deb, Craig and Mark for a wonderful time.

I would have to be one of the happiest photographers in Australia this week. Two Nikon Australia Ambassadors, Jasin Boland and Delly Carr, came up with and idea to share their joy in the world of photography by banding together other Nikon Ambassadors  and through the help of Nikon Australia, I got a magic delivery of a Nikon D700 DSLR Camera and a Nikon 24=120 f4 Lens. You could say I have a huge smile on my face when I opened the box. After a little play and with some help from a fellow photographer friend, James Collier, helped me set up my new kit, ready to fire away. Thank you all at Nikon Australia for your kind generosity for this great gift. Can’t wait to start using it on my journeys.

After a long delay with the trains, I finally got down to Geelong to catch up with James where we traveled down to Queens Cliff and beyond for an afternoon of photo taking. James was very kind to lend me his 150-500 lens, where I had a lot of fun firing away. I was amazed on how close the world came to me and the results were magic.
